Hi!2012 Chrysler Town and Country front wheel drive. Where is the starter. Front, back, side? Is it hard to get to?

Front right as you look down on the engine. Follow the dip stick pipe down to it's bottom, (yellow). It will be to the right of where the pipe enters the engine block, fitted from left to right, (red). See photo.

Heat 2000 town and country

Sounds like more than one issue. 17 year old Chrysler, so it is not a surprise. Blend door actuator, HVAC power head are possibilities. If this is still powered by vacuum lines, they could have leaks at this age and nothing will work right. This all could require dash removal of various degrees to test and repair.

Passenger window stuck down in 2001 chrysler town and country. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem with my 2001 T&C, on the exact same window. I ordered a new power window motor from and had it shipped to me. Next, I spent a whole afternoon taking apart the door panel, taking out the old power window motor and putting the new one in.

Admittedly, it's not an easy job. But if you're adventurous enough, and have right tools (by the way, I didn't have the correct Allan Wrench for one of the'll need a "star" allen wrench...I forget which size) it can be done. If I could do it, and I'm not an auto mechanic by any means, then anyone else with the will to save $$ can do it too.

What also helped, and gave me confidence, was watching a YouTube video put out by 1AAuto on how to replace power window motors. The video showed a step by step process (granted, on a different vehicle than my T&C). I remember running back into my house and watching part of the video over again to make sure I was doing it correctly.

Also, whatever you do to dismantle the door panel and access the power motor, you simply do in reverse to put it all back together again.

I'll try to find the pictures I took and post them later.

My wifes minivan, 2001 chrysler town and country does not blow very cold air. it's cool but not cold. I have replaced the dryer and recharged system to 2.69lbs. It holds vacuum and the guages are in...

Did you pull a vacuum on the system before charging? Disconnect the blend door actuator and turn it by hand. These aren't known for having stuck blend doors.

Is it important what size muffler and resonator, is replaced on a 2001 chrysler town and country V-6 engine? Sadly, I took my van to have a new muffler put on it. When the mechanic, called he also said...

Possible results are , increased fuel use, reduction in power and you may fail noise emissions (too much noise), some after market exhaust systems are designed to give improvements but these are general much more costly than standard fittings. I would not be happy myself and would want it put right, Not sure which country you are in so can't advise on trading standards, but in uk items must be fit for purpose or you get your money back.

2001 Chrysler Town and Country, Air conditioner gets cold on passenger side but not on drivers side.

I am having the same issue. Did you figure out the problem? We took out my dash and the doors and actuators seem to be working. Put it on recirc and it eventually cools down.

Right sliding door will not open

You could have a broken door handle or a broken power door lock actuator.

hi to get the lights to stop flashing this is with you have to do he reason they are on is beacuse the battery has been removed at one time ok this is the was to get them to stop flashing. first start the vanthen slide the temputer lever all the way to the right then set the mode control to panel (this is the mode that send air to your face)then put the fan speed to full power now go to the leftmost three buttons press the top one(rear wiper on constant) and the bottom one(rear wiper hold thest for a few seconds once the lights come on solid then begin to flash you can let go. the ac will now calibrate you will feel air blow out of all the vents at different intervals and see lights come on and off then after a minute or two the top button you pressed will be slowly flashing this means it has been completed but let it run for a few minutes more to make sure nothing els flashes then press the last flashing button then your done if you need more help email me [email protected]
