You have a vacuum leak check under the hood for a black plastic bulb that has a small vacuum hose and a small linkage going to the throttle body. That small hoe probably bad.
P0567: Possible causes
- Faulty Cruise Control Resume Switch
- Cruise Control Resume Switch harness is open or shorted
- Cruise Control Resume Switch circuit poor electrical connection
P0700 is a generic code indicating problems with the transmission. It is a general code that alerts you of a fault with the transmission control section of the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
To access the specific code for the transmission, you need to take it to a dealership or transmission repair facility that has enhanced software capable of reading the transmission codes to determine what is wrong in the transmission. It could be simply a sensor or solenoid problem. The technician can access the specific code that will help him troubleshoot what is wrong.
Again, P0700 is simply a "flashing light" that indicates a problem in the transmission circuitry and nothing else.
Wow your husband replaced the motor and transmission but cant get the cruise control light to stop flashing lol. May be wire not plugged in or plugged in to wrong spot this happens with newer cars and the 7 billion wires they have. Has he tried hooking your car up to a OBD reader to see if it gives a error code?
It could be the brake pedal switch, it often occurs it fails in our kitty. If your car (as mine) is equipped with a cruise control, this could be associated with the msg "cruise control not available" too (or something similar). In this case you can fix (or change) that switch. The worst is to dismount it... ;-)
could be transmission fault, connect the 2 loose black plugs together under the drivers side dash, turn on ignition, no start, the ecl will flash the code, slow flashes are 10's and fast ones are 1's. codes can be got from bba-reman.com
Try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes and then see if the code goes away. The info I have says the problem could be the part you replaced or the connector. You may have to test the wires to see if they are broken.
The tires would not cause this problem. But call the dealer with your Vin# about yet another cruise control recall. There are various electrical faults and false readings for all kind of sensors due to defective cruise wiring.
I have the same problem with the Cruise Control not available coming up but I had a smiliar problem with the ABS and Engine light coming on when battery was pretty much dead, it was hard to steer and brake.. may be something different with your car..
hello , this kind of problems happened due to wrong connecting with the carbrator , or rearly because of wrong wiring of the cruise control , i hope that helps you and , thank you for using fixya.
