For starting issues, clean throttle body and Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF) first. If your fuel pump isn't supplying enough pressure, that will cause starting issues. You need to test with a pressure gauge.

I find alot of technical manuals at a web site called "PDF foo.com" they have almost everything there and it's free to view as well as download or print.

found a 1991 charade owner's manual on books4cars.com. it's 36.95. they also sell service manuals which are considerably more involved. if you do not wish to spend that much you might try ebay, lots of people sell automobile literature there. sometimes you can find manuals in a free download form online then you could print it out and you would just be out the cost of printer paper. i was not able to find one for your car, but i didn't look for very long. hope that helps
