- to check fuel pump/relay- with drivers door open - radio off - insert key and turn from OFF to RUN-not start- should hear a hum from under car back towards tank- relay is under hood in second fuse/relay panel ? did you hit a bump just before car shut off? - if so look in manual for location of EMERGENY FUEL CUTOFF- usually in trunk area- large red push button- can trip sometimes with a hard enough jolt

no, but newer cars have a fuel pump cutoff switch located somewhere on the vehicle that is triggered by inertia and will have to be reset after any accident
