Can't get valve cover off on drivers side of 2001 s10 4.3L It looks like the only way to get it off, is to take air compressor and bracket that compressor mounts. Please advise

remove the ac compressor without disconnecting the hoses and the electrical lead and shift the entire thing out of the way. thereby preserving the freon charge

Where is the expansion valve located on the 2004 KIA Sedona

Kia Sedona expansion FRONT valve located under dash, behind glove box, fan and coil. Evacuate freon first. Disconnect Freon lines from firewall., Lay right front seat back to flat horizontal position and lay on top or totally remove the seat for easier working access. Remove under dash cover, fan, glove box, coil housing, remove coil mounting bolts, remove old expansion valve. (Inspect old valve, if debris inside, blow out coil before installing new valve. If visible debris best to consider replacing REAR expansion valve and DRIER/FILTER in front of radiator too and blow out all lines and coils while servicing.) Use compressor oil to lubricate "O" rings on new FRONT or REAR expansion valve, install valve bolts, reinstall coil bolts to FRONT firewall or REAR frame, reconnect freon lines to firewall in engine compartment. Evacuate AC system, install freon (35 1/2 ounces, nominal 3 pounds), check system for leaks, check for proper operation, enjoy.

I replaced the ac compressor in my 1999 Sebring convertible with one from a junk yard. The shop who replaced it said the valve must be stuck and is not opening(?) Can I fix this so my ac works or do I need...

if they are talking about the a/c expansion valve or h-valve,it could be stuck not allowing refrigerant flow..it can be replaced..it is located behind engine on passenger side at firewall..would recommend a professional to service your a/c system..this part may be available at your local parts dealer

How do you access and remove the valvecover on a 1989 firebird formula 350 (Side the AC unit is on.)? I tried to change my gasket, but was unable to get enough room to take the cover off.

ON these you do need to remove the a/c compressor. You do not need to undo the hoses but unbolt the compressor and set it asside out of the way. Be vary careful in doing this so not to break the hoses or anything else. You may have to remove the a/c brackets as well. Just remember how they come apart so you can put them back. Let me know how you did. and if you need more info. Please leave feedback.

AC Low Pressure location on 2004 Chevy Suburban

You find the AC low pressure at the top of the compressor, orientated toward you , facing the front of the vehicle. You can also follow the compressor line to reach the port.

The valve is covered a plastic cap covering it.
Near the compressor you find two ports, the high port and low port.

To find out which one is the low port, run the air conditioner for a couple of minutes withthe engine on.
Then turn off the care and touch the lines from compressor to the two ports covered with plastic caps. Only one of the pipes will be cold, the cold line will lead you to the low port.

Regards.

1999 FORD TAURUS EVAP SERVICE PORT

The AC charge port is the on low pressure AC line (large line from compressor) near the firewall. Take care not to overcharge, there are other causes of no cooling like a stuck AC compressor cycling switch or a air temp control blend door motor malfunction, what is the issue u have? does the AC compressor run?
