Where is the fuel pump relay on a 1985 Honda accord we have been getting mixed answers, totally confused

It is referred to as the main relay as it has another function. It is under the hood mounted to the firewall by a single screw see photo

The fuel relay should be under the speedometer, and the ecm should be under the passenger seat.

have you tested for main power to the fuel pump relay and checked the main fuse???
this is a very common honda fault over in newzealand where im from..having owned a few myself i have come accross, this generally the relay though.. but if you have a good fuse supplying power to relay its the relay or wiring..if not , trace from fusebox back to ecu by passengers foot well....i cant quite remember what pin number is the fuel power but i know it only runs piggy back to ecu so ecu doesnt control it ... try this if no luck try auto sparky

I guess on the Carb, at the idle port, its a solenoid I suspect.

the main relay, located at the back of the fuse box, is a coupler type which contains relays for the ECU power supply and fuel pump power supply.

Its called a Main Fuel Pump Relay.. It controls Fuel Pump, Starter, Ignition.. and Like 12 things.. Get one And I guarantee that'll fix it.. It looks like a cell phone on the upper inside of the dash.. about 52 Bucks from the dealer.. Try it

ck all fuses? why did you drop tank down? if high mileage, poss. ign. switch problem. somewhat common.

Hi. Have you change the fuel pump relay?
If not change the relay, The original number is, RZ0088.
In the fuse box below the steering column. Is there a fuse for fuel pump.
The relay is a common problem for this cars.

I know that you want a simple answer but, have you done any troble shooting steps at the pump its self? when the relay is in does it pump at all? what is your lin pressure?
