I just bought a 99 Concorde and this picture is what the housing looked like. Should i get a new housing? Or will it be okay to put the new one in

These are just ideas to look at.
Fluid in radiator could be low. Make sure it's topped up.
Water pump malfunctioning.
Radiator Plugged.
Pinched or buckled hoses.
Is the serpentine belt working properly?

Ignition Module
Fuel Pressure Bad
Fuel Filter Plugged
Bad Compression
Blocked Air Intake
Clogged Air Filter

the thermostat is in the housing where the top radiator connects onto the engine......cheers

#1 coil is on #1 cylinder. should be on drivers side, first coil at the front of the engine. another easy way to tell which is #1 is to look at the coilson both front sides. the coil that is farthest forward toward the front of the car is #1. Don

Look under the left front wheel well you might have to take off the Wheel to get at it its forward of the wheel Stupid place to place to put it isnt it

put the 2 down bolts half way and then put the serpentingbelt and then put on the third bolt. then loos the tensioner.

You cannot run an external regulator on this, your only solution is to replace the ECM.

You car needs to be put on a rack and the shifting linkages need to be inspected for loose or misaligned components.

turn ur key to on and pull 10 amp fuses out and find a blowin one put a new 10 amp in

The best way to find the thermostat is to follow the lower radiator hose back to the engine where it ties into the thermostat housing.
You have to remove the accessory drive belt for the generator, then lift the vehicle to work from underneath, then remove the generator bolts and set it aside. Then remove the hoses from the housing. Then remove the housing and the thermostat.
Clean the sealing surface. Install thermostat with bleed hole at 12:00 oclock position. Install housing and tighten bolts to 105 inch-pounds (about 9 foot-pounds).
