Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes

You will need to scanned the car computer to know exactly what fault code is stored there; note this code number and send us for additional details.

Sometimes Autozone or Autoshop with OBD scanner reader make this job for free, try it and keep us updated.

replace blower motor ...hope it helps

Very common concern with the Explorer, Explorer Sport Trac and Ranger with the 4.0l SOHC engine! The upper and lower intake manifold gaskets fail, causing vacuum leaks..It can be Extremely difficult to detect these leaks, because they only leak intermittently (usually in the AM after a cold soak)... As the engine warms up they seal back up! Sometimes the vehicle will idle rough, surge or stall after initial start up, then the symptoms will clear after it gets to operating temperature... Usually there will be no driveability symptoms at all, except the engine light coming on and setting lean codes.. The gaskets have been redesigned to correct this concern..

Go to autozone (free code check) to get ur engine codes checked out.

It is a very plain code it has something to do withthe drivers side seat belt buckle. Either out of range short to power or ground etc. Need a more specfic code to pnpoint exact problem but I can tell ya it is in your drivers seat belt connection somewhere

Above is correct, some body panels are interchangeable some aren't...Headlights, front fenders, hood yes. Doors unsure, bed and back no (obviously). The underpinnings (suspension) are similar, but not exact...and depending on the year, the Explorer went to independent rear suspension, while the sport trac kept the solid axle differential.
