Hello info26944... first..check your fuses you might have one thats blown. Your instrument cluster may be experiencing a short circuit, which could shut down that circuit, to protect the BCM. I'll assume you've adjusted the dimmer all the way up and down past its detents to ensure its not just the switch? If all that checks out ok, then have the BCM scanned for a stored fault.
Good luck...i hope this helps...please rate me a fixya.

Hello
No there is no procedure, the dimmer control is just burned out or the dash light fuse is open, replace the headlight switch and check the fuse

Acts like dead battery, all instrament lights work, put on batt charger still woturn over acts like dead batt, is there some kind of fuse? or what? help plz

maybe it really is a dead battery. Headlights bright? dim? if the lights are bright and you try to start it and they go out or dim, either the battery is bad, or a bad connection. Try to wiggle the cables at the battery.

Parking lights, instramental panel tail lights do not come on. I checked the fuse and bought a new headlight switch

Before you replace a part make sure that the part is faulty by a confirmed test. Here what you can do is to use a multimeter or a 12 volt bulb ( park lamp) one side connected to ground and the other side searching for the missing voltage for the circuit. When you turn on the cluster switch of the park lamp check the voltage coming to the dash board cluster or the park lamps. Proceed backward to the point where the voltage was missed out, could be a loose connection or an open harness wiring, If so you can use a loop to the cluster swtich for the +12 supply. It will become easier if you identify the colour of the wire of the testing circuit and trace. I am sure you will locate the missing link and find the fault. I hope thie advice helps you. Good day

After jump-starting my van, the panel lights don't come on when the headlights are on. How do I fix this?

this either a fuse that bew or your dimmer switch that makes the lights brighter and dimmer on the dash is turned down all the way if the fuse is good and it's nit turned down all the way then the bulbs are all blown or the dimmer switch is bad

Dash panel does not work...

The only solution that I can come up with is that the ground wire under the dash on the drivers side (it is mounted to the bottom edge of the dash with a screw) is really loose. I sincerely hope that this helped. Best wishes.

Interior Lights

I would look at the swithch dor it. Its built into the dimmer switch with the headlights. Sounds like it may b on....Also could be a door pin switch no grounding like it dosnt see the door closed. If you still want to pull the fuse it shoud be the one that says inst/curt thats instrument and courtesy. Just know that you will loose your instrament panel as well as a few other iems that are powered from that fuse.
