My 94 ford bronco has an odd wire harness that i cannot find a diagram for nor can i match any of the wire colors to any of the posted listings. the harness is small and square, for the speakers only

Your Bronco has the premium radio with separate amplifier. The harness you have connects the radio to the amplifier. The 8-pin connector is identified as follows:
RR (-) LT BLU
RR (+) PPL/WHT
RF (-) BRN
RF (+) WHT/RED
LR (-) YEL
LR (+) LT BLU/BLK
LF (-) WHT/ORG
LF (+) LT GRN

My 86 bronco died sumtimes when i drove it. i wuz told it wuz tha fuel filter. i changed that and now it dies more. coil, wires, cap, rotor, and modulator are all new. could this be my fuel pump?

Take the car to Autozone or similar business for a free scan of the computer. Write down any codes listed. If you get a code for low fuel pressure, the pump is a good suspect. Hope this helps!

Battery terminals

Can't tell you without looking at the battery, it may be in backwards...This is what you need to tell the difference between positive and negative:
The positive terminal usually has a plastic red cap over the wire. The positive wire is usually red.
The positive wire leads to the fusebox, and the starter.
The Negative wire connects to the fender. Is is usually closer to the fender. Let me know if this helps, a FixYa rating would be greatly appreciated.
