Try checking if you have any bad fuses. If good, continue checking power to the switch, if good, continue to check if you are getting power to the heater motor it self.

To unlock the car radio - Have a pen and paper ready. Push and hold
stereo preset buttons 2 and 3 simultaneously for several seconds. Three
digits will appear in the display "***", write them down. Push the AM/FM
button, three more digits will appear in display "YYY", write them
down. Enter this six digit number, "XXXYYY" into the text box provided
Sounds like the wires inside the harness between the door jam are broken from cracking in the cold and opening and closing the door. push the rubber boot back or cut it off if you like and inspect the wires.
You need to retrieve the BCM (Body Control Module) faulty code with a scanner. Fix any code that you find.
Try to erase any code and see if the problem is solved.
Sounds like the controller is out. The controller is the actual panel with the buttons you push to make the air come on. Remove the trim from around it...if you dont see screws...they probably snap out. remove 4 screws that hold controller in place. carefully pull controller out enough to get to electrical and vacuum hose connections. Go to wrecking yard or E-Bay Motors...online for replacement. Installation is in reverse of removal.
