Mathew have al the power off and used a smoothed of clotheslinetry /////////gently to pul it out, once your sure you have it loght up the sterio and maintain a steay pull, can u tell me ow that worked out? 3min to 5 hours screaming:)

Remove the shift console trim panel (usually held on by clips), under there you will find 1 to 6 bulbs, replace them and put it back together.

DO NOT buy bulbs anywhere other than SUBARU as replacement. They are specifically long life bulbs. Yes, availlable in other brands in other stores and more cost efficient but not in the long run..
