At night shine a flash light into the cluster and you should be able to see it if there is one and you will know whether to take out the instrument panel also vheck the fuses for possible blown one for dash lights

My break lights won't work when my headlights are

you might have the bulbs installed backwards. the bulbs have two elements a low and high. you might be seeing the low when you hit the brakes. if the bulbs are in or wired backwards you would not see the low to high difference if the were in backwards and the lights were on

My 96 cadillac deville's cluster will not work.the fuses are good, its only the middle where the mileage and fuel lights are.

There is a backlight bulb that is burned. You will have to remove the cluster and replace the bulb in the middle. I can't remember the exact bulb number but the old one should have a marking on it. I would suggest replacing ALL the bulbs (I think there are 3 or 4) as long as you have the dash out. They will all burn out shortly due to the age of the vehicle. Bulbs are good for about 10,000 hours or so.

Good Luck.

Headlights don twork

the daytime running lamps are the high beam bulbs connected in a series which puts a lower voltage to them causing them to appear dimmer. if your low beams are not working i'd start by checking the bulbs to make sure they're not just burnt out. then check the fuses. if that doesnt work let me know and i'll help you trouble shoot it further

Low fuel warning light has stoped working

If dash lamp blub checks out to be good, the fuel tank sender located in the fuel tank is what triggers the lamp and is most likely in need of replacement.

96 4Runner - Help with Dash lights

You need to replace the bulbs behind the heater control. The bulbs have rather large filaments, and hitting the control sometimes makes the filaments "weld themselves" back together for a short time. I would not suspect a short or a loose wire.
