2000 Land Rover Discovery Blower motor resistor location and removal

Do you already have access to your blower motor? If so you should find the resistor on the motor housing where the blower output is located. It will have wiring plugged into it. When you remove it it should look like a heatsink.

When I turn on my air conditioned Land Rover Discovery Series 2 2001, does not turn on the fan that is in the front of the radiator

Disconnect the plugin wires to rad. fan and test for voltage to plug. Using an ohmmeter, see if the fan connection is open. If open, replace motor. If no voltage, check fuse, relay, and wiring and possibly the switch for loss of power. While moving, the air passes through condensor to make it work but in traffic and at stop, not enough air to remove heat from condensor.

1999 discovery is overheating, cooling fans are not coming

This is because of the improper circulation of the coolant, if the AC turned on then the engine load will be considerably increase and spoil the thermal switch (which initiate the cooling fan to run). So you better clean the radiator and check the radiator pump, then replace the thermal switch to get the things done.
