Firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2. Distributor cap should be numbered. Number one cylinder is front on driver's side (3 and 5 follow on same side). Number 2 is front on passenger's side (followed by 4 and 6).

No fire to the coil packs on a 05 Chevy impala 3.8

You can try unplugging one of the spark plug wires from the coil pack and then touching it to a metal surface, you should see a spark. If you do then that wire and plug are good. Do this to each wire to check for spark. If they all have spark, ensure that they are plugged in the correct order. If they are you may have a faulty coil pack. You can pick one up on ebay super cheap.

Fireing order

the firing order is 123456 pretty easy, but i think what you want is spark plug location on the coil packs, so lets start with cylinder placement. starting at the front of the engine the end with the belt the three cylinders closest to the radiator are 2 4 6 the cylinders at the back of the engine are 1 3 5 the spark plug wire location is from the front of the coil pack( fount of engine ) 1 4 6 3 2 5......HAVE FUN
