Fuel pump fuse for 04 bonneville - Cars & Trucks

1 fuse 1 relay 1 fuel pump that realy hates when you run it out of gas. open gas door remove cap have someone listen to hear pump "whine" when you turn key on . give fuel tank a good whack
this may work 1 time (seen many no starts that when tow truck brings them in i go out and driveinto shop then wont go again)
you gotta drop tank to test for power grey wire to pump

The relay and fuse are in the electrical relay center located inside
the passenger compartment behind the right hand side of the
instrument panel the lower right corner next to where the
passengers right foot would be the fuel pump fuse is #6 20 amp the
relay is N directly above it

it may be that you didn't run out of fuel but the fuel pump quit-check the fuse-you more than likely need a new fuel pump-the fuel pump and the fuel level sensor are one unit in the fuel tank-cheers Denny

relay fuse usually under hood lack of fuel means the block is behind the filter turn it on and listen to the pump

Make shure both battery cables are tight especialy the pos side since there are 2 cables with a washer between the cables. they come loose all the time.

I believe that the fuel pump and gas gauge are all one. They are located in the fuel tank. When they start going bad they sometimes start reading the amount of fuel left in tank incorrectly.

All relays are located at the center rear of the engine compartment, below the left side under-hood fuse block (behind the maxi-fuse/relay center cover). There should be a diagram under the cover, that will direct you to the relay you seek.

There is a Fuse Relay Station under the Hood on the Drivers Side Up torwards the Firewall. The Relay is in there. Just replace it. it is Very tough to test and is More than likely your Problem and Cheap.
