SOURCE: wipers on a peugeot 206 52 plate wont stop

i can't find a manual for that car... but it is likely the wiper relay and is likely located in the fuse panel near the battery in the engine compartment.

SOURCE: how to turn off the airbag on peugeot 206 1.6

there should be a key switch inside the car somewhere you need to turn it to the off position with the ignition key
(it will probably be some where on the dash, in the glove box or center console)

Which side of the clutch plate faces the crankshaft side?

hold the clutch plate against the flywheel and try to rotate
if it is wrong the hub section will hit on the flywheel bolt heads

practice dictates that the raised section ( bit with the springs in the housing of the clutch plate) faces the gear box so that there is clearance to those springs to the flywheel bolt heads
besides that if you have a new clutch plate if will have " this side to the flywheel" printed on it

I have a peugeot 206 allure I have clunking noise when changing from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to 3rd but not when changing to forth or coming down the gear I have had a new gear box clutch and thrust

It could be a loose/failed engine or transmission mount. Look at the tranny rear mount and check the bolts and condition. Also check the bell housing bolts AND the bolts connecting the engine flywheel to the clutch pressure plate.

206 w reg fitted new clutch but now have no biting point so car will not pull away help

Hello, Who installed the clutch"? Were there a new pressure plate installed? Were there a new throw out bearing installed. Does this 1991 Peugeot 405 have hydraulic or mechanical clutch linkage?
There a couple of reason why the Peugeot wont move and engine is running and the transmission is in gear.

1.. Pressure plate is installed backwards.--Remove transmission and reinstall pressure plate in the correct orientation to the clutch. There is two ways to install it, but one way correctly.

2. Adjustment for the clutch linkage from the pedal in the driver compartment is adjusted to tight and not releasing the clutch to where the clutch pressure is on the pressure plate.

I hope this helps. GB....stewbison

Peugeot 206 NEW clutch pressure and clutch plates were replaced including the bearing. Clutch is making a rattling noise but not when pedal is down. Having difficulty getting into 1st and 2nd gears....

its likley to be the clutch center plate cush springs are loos and the center plate is warped so wnen you try to get into gear the clutch is draging the gear box around,,,bipping the clutch stops the clutch spinning so no noise! all you can do is strip the lot down again and fine the fault and fix it

Hi, peugeot 206 clutch/engine problem..

It seems like the clutch pressure plate has given in. Best would be to replace the clutch pro-kit.( Clutch pressure plate, clutch plate and release bearing)
