Could you tell us, is it a grinding noise, or knocking, or vibration, and does it come from the upper wheel hub or lower down near your feet?

WHY DOES THE HORN ON MY 1995 TOYOTA CAMARY ONLY WORK WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL IS FULLY TURNED TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT AND NOT WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL IS STRAIGHT AHEAD

pull the steering wheel and check the wear ring under the wheel that the brass contact plunger runs on
it is possible that for the straight ahead position the ring is worn away

2006 toyota camray streeling wheel makes noise

Try the simple stuff first. Is the noise coming from the steering wheel or from under the hood? If it's under the hood you might be low on power steering fluid. Check that first... If not, I suggest you take it to a reputable mechanic

My 95 Toyota Camry is making alot of noises when Im driving, It is a manuls transmisson with front wheel drive sounds almost like drive shaft as gone dry, know nothing about front wheel drive

There are only a few things that will cause this noise. The first, and most common, is a bad CV (constant velocity) joint. The boot that covers the joint will inevitably dry out and crack, or bust, and at that point, the grease will dissipate, and leave the joint unprotected. That is when road grime, or dirt get in and wear the knuckle out of the joint, thus making the popping sound. You will need to have the affected axle replaced, keep in mind that there are two, one for each wheel. If that is not the issue, then you are looking at a bad wheel bearing, and that too will need to be replaced. Keep in mind that anytime you have work performed on a front wheel drive, minus the brakes, that you will want to have the front end re-aligned to avoid premature tire wear.

My 2000 toyota camry 4 cylander makes a screetch noise when the steering wheel is turned all the way either direction. Why?

First check your power steering fluid for the proper level and check the belt. Also Get a Friend to sit in your car and turn your steering wheel giving you an idea of your problem area. But it sounds like the belt slipping on the power steering pump or its low power steering fluid level.

Hello. I have a 1995 Camry sedan..I'd been experienced this problem, which is,my car will slide a bit to the leftside if I'm not holding my steering wheel...I had sent the car for alignment, but still the...

If you have had an alignment and it's still there, take it back, they should have fixed it in the alignment process, or at least told you that you have other issues to address first. and not align your car.
I have done alignments and if there are parts that are to loose you can't do the alignment. Some times there are issues in the rear on the car that has to be fixed, they should have caught that too.
The purpose of an alignment is to make the car go down the road straight and not pull to one side, also to level out the steering wheel.

1995 Olds Achieva S Grinding upon starting

They make that kind of noise if its low on fluid, and also depending on how cold it is they will make a lot of noise because the colder it is the thicker the oil is and the harder it is to pump. I am not there to hear the starter, If the starter is making noise it will only be audiable while your on start, i dought starter will make that noise while its running unless the drive is sticking . Have both the pump and starter chk.out.
