My golf is going into limp mode as soon as it gets hot
I drive a 2006 golf 5 fsi 2liter luxline but its been about a month now that the car goes into limp mode and we've noticed for the last week something is draining the battery.
Re: my golf is going into limp mode as soon as it gets...
Faulty transmission computer or solenoids
or other sensors
battery draining may be separate issue

I have the same problem on my 2007 Mercedes E350, and cant get an accurate answer from any body, every body tell me different things even Mercedes Dealer. Help me!!!
i had the same problem of starting the car and it dies, it turned to be the transponder not sending enough signal to the cluster. this may require a new transponder and re programing of such.
try checking your transmission control module for burn't resistors or capacitors also try clearing your tcm by pulling the negative side of your battery off for bout 10 minutes and look for any fuses related to the tcm or ecm in your owners manual
