Lights intermittingly go out?

I would suspect the main headlight switch for having burnt contracts as well as a heat damaged connector to the main light switch. Because you gave no make, model, or year that is about all I can offer.

2000 ford winstar shut of suddenly headlights won't shut off interior lights do not respond to switch being on and it will not turn the starter at all

Sounds like you may have lost a body ground causing the battery current to backfeed through the headlight system

2004 trailblazer ext high beam headlights wont turn off and the relay makes high pitched noise

Need to check the ground path on the squealing relay. A poor ground will cause this condition.

Running headlights won't turn off when car is shut down, why?

Are you sure that you do not have a delay timer on these lights? This is a feature that keeps the lights on for a set amount of time for you to see your way to the door or whatever. My light timer is on a 30 second hold before turning off.

When signal lights stay on at indicators there's usually bad bulbs or the headlight switch is no good it's a self warning in the system check the bulbs for good elements if okay I'm pretty sure that the headlight switch is n / g

1999 HONDA ACCORD LX IS TURNNING OFF WHILE I DRIVE

when this stall happens notice if the speedometer drops to "0" while the vehicle is in motion, if some warning lights aren't lit (chk engine, ABS, brake etc.) when key is set to "On"!! If these issues happen when the vehicle "shuts off while driving" it may be caused by "ignition switch failure". Your vehicle may be part of a 2002 Honda/Acura recall. Symtoms include: intermitted power loss, intermitted engine shut off, some warning lights not lit, random hard starts. This happens more often in warmer/hot weather. Call your local dealer and provide them with your VIN# to check if your vehicle is still covered, they may fix it for free. Otherwise the part is about $48-$100!!

Flickering lights

The e-brake light problem is causing your headlight issue.
The e-brake switch is supposed to turn the lights off for you if you are parked and don't want them on.
Make sure your e-brake is released all the way, if OK, check the switch at the E-brake, it will have a single tan wire connecting to it. If you disconnect the wire the headlight issue should go away and you will know it is the switch. Make sure you have the key in the off position so the module resets.
Good luck, let me know.
