Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor
In the engine compartment, on the right side of the engine block, at the rear 5 cylinder , need to take exhaust heat shield off to get at it

Bank one is on the drivers side.

The main fuse box for your CTS is located under the hood. 1 - Inflatable Restraint Front End Discriminating Sensor
2 - Inflatable Restraint Front End Discriminating Sensor Connector
3 - Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Sensor - Passenger (Driver Similar)
4 - Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Sensor - Passenger Connector (Driver Similar)


Engine compartment and center pillar post between both doors

Check front crankshaft seal from under car, see if you see oil coming out of back of pulley.

Crankshaft sensor is Located on the side of the block by the oil filter,
