SOURCE: do i have to reset the computer after oil change on my bmw 2006 325i

You don't "have to" reset the status but it does help to keep track of oil life.
Turn the car on. Wait about a minute for the computer to get to normal.
press and hold the travel mile reset button. HOld it untill an ! in a triangle appears. then your maintanance info will pop up. select the item to reset. and tap the side button on the wand atached to the stearing wheel. this button is what you use to browse through your computer. press the button once it will say "reset" press and hold it the second time and it will say reset, hold for 5 seconds or so and it will show a check mark next to
"reset" confirming it has reset.

BMW 118i f20 car go into limp mode when going over to 3000rpm drive train failure moderate at low speed continue journey at moderate speed pls help .No misfire engine running smooth

You should search BMW forums for your particular year and model to get the best advice. However, it's possible you've got a bad crankshaft or camshaft sensor. At lower RPM, the computer may have a workaround to keep the engine running, but it quits working at higher revs. Borrow a code reader from an auto parts store (free) and follow the instructions to see if a problem has been identified. Buying the part online and installing yourself is usually WAY cheaper than having a shop do it. But check the location of the sensor first, to see if it's a DIY project.

What does a amber triangle light with DTC mean

Hi the DTC is dynamic traction control. If the light is on constantly you need to get the car diagnosed. It could be a wheel sensor. If it only flashes occasionally it indicates wheel spin. Hope this helps. Jim...
