undoing others persons HACKS is not easy for me blind here in a text box , post photos of hacks, so we can see them.
the post is NO CRANK, (asside from hacks the answer is the same.
battery must be good.
so must the alternator. be good and its huge fuse too.
battery at 12.6vdc rested. ,less need sharge
next is heal lamps work even key off and key on both. bright not dim.
battery passes load test in shop.
battery cables all 4 ends not rusty or loose.
The electronics con not work on a weak battery 10v or below.
TRY BATTERY OUT OF SECOND GOOD CAR.
JUMP START IT USING JUMPER CABLES.


1: check all fuses first. skip none, cab and engine bay.
2: key on in park, see if IMMO lamp is unhappy. per users guide lost that? if is failing the key 2 the 2nd key all cars had new (lost that/?)_
3: crank in park the per the guide lost crank in Neutual, omg works.
if park fails and Neutral works he PRNDL switch in/on the TRANNY is bad.


SEE if it glows key on as it must if there. and if it blinks or stays on or goes on then off.
in the IP dash cluster is a theft alarm light and the Ign key must make this lamp healthy both keys, I cant see your 2 keys
some have battery inside the key that is dead.
this IMMO key has stamped # MR587315
only this key works per makers SB pages

one KEY FACT (pun too) is the key can be active or passive.
I think your key is active. with battery.
FUSE 6 AND 16 MUST NOT BE BLOWN,ALT
fUSE 10, NOT BLOWN, DLC , NOT DEAD. SCAN TOO FAILS.

THE PCM RUNS THIS RELAY FUEL PUMP.
THE PCM BLOCKS THIS RELAY IF , IMMO FAILS(KEY BAD)
OR SPARK IS DEAD, OR ANY FUSED BLOWN. LOTS.

Instructions for resetting the anti-theft system. The negative cable is always the one to disconnect first and reconnect last. You could also just phone for a mobile vehicle alarm installer / locksmith, or a mobile auto electrician.

Do you have power from the neutral safety switch to the stater when the key switch is in the start position ?

Sound like u have an overheating condenser fins, check the A/C Fan and the relay!

Sounds like you may need a new power steering belt, or have the belt tightened. I would have the other belts inspected too.

disconnect the battery again, with it disconnected press hold the brake pedal for 30 seconds, leave the battery disconnected for 30 minutes. reconnect battery, turn key from off to on and wait 2 minutes, start the vehicle (don't touch the gas or brake for 5 minutes) this is what I did on my friends montero and it started right up and ran fine, only thing I could figure is that I caused the computer to reset and recalibrate itself, but i'm not real sure. worked for him maybe it will work for you... good luck
