How do I get helpers after booking a truck? - Cars & Trucks

Make sure battery has a full charge. Have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also, check fuel injector pulse. How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? To check codes your self, at the least, you need an obd2 code reader.

Fill the reservoir with brake fluid. with a helper pumping the pedal start at the right rear. Open the bleeder and tell your helper to push down. Once the pedal is down the helper will yell down. Close the bleeder and tell your helper up. your helper will then let up on the brake pedal. Continue until fluid comes out with no air bubbles. Proceed to the left rear and repeat. then the right front and finish with the left front.

Make sure to keep on eye on the fluid level and keep topping off as necessary. You may have to repeat the process more than once.

It seems beyond belief that anyone would attempt this type of work without a basic shop manual. They are cheap, illustrated and include torque values needed to do this type of work.

Have a helper with you; have the helper crawl under the truck under the fuel tank. Turn the key to RUN and have the helper check for any sounds coming from the tank. If there are no sounds, then something is knocking the pumps out.

Forget the ABS and all the scanner stuff

Start engine,get a helper in the vehicle and bleed as you would any car.
Start at right rear,then left rear,RF,LF

Do not open any abs system bleeders,just 4 wheel bleeders

1). get a helper first. perferablility some one can follow instruction.
have the helper set in the car and ready to step on the brake pedal.
2). fill the brake cylinder to the max mark. have the helper step on the brake 3 times and hold it . while you open the bleeder valve at the wheel brake cylinder. Watch the brake fluid, wait till it just before it empty out, close the valve. and tell the helper to release the brake. do this till there is not air coming out, just steady stream of brake fluid. close the valve. and move to the other wheel.
IT IS IMPORTANT THE HELPER DO NOT RELEASE THE BRAKE PEDAL BEFORE YOU CLOSE THE VALVE. if that happen, you just have to keep doing it till all air are out.
3). start from the rear right, rear left, front right, front left.
4). maek sure the fluid in the master clyinder do not drop below the min line.
5). fill the master brake cylinder with fluid and ready to go.
