Question about 2007 Pontiac Torrent FWD
Message: Service Stabilitrak. Stabilitrak light illuminated. No operational issues. No codes. Traction control has no issues and no service engine light or warnings. Vehicle operates normally
Sounds like you have a bad wheel speed sensor. You need to have it scanned. Since it's been sitting, it might just be a bad connection to one of the speed sensors.

If your trac and abs are both on. the problem could be a wheel speed sensor.
on some GM cars this sensor is built into the vehichles hub unit. making the bering and sensor one sealed unit. cheap hub units can be gotten (under 100 bucks) at autozone

traction control is related to differential.controls slippage for better handling.have it checked could just be faulty sensor
