SOURCE: change head light 1998 ford f150 extend ed cab

it's done from the inside of the passenger compartment... you may have to remove the battery first if it's on that side. oh and don't touch the bulb with your fingers ... it shortens the life of the bulb.

SOURCE: ABS light came on as well as check engine light

There are sensor's in all the wheel and one sensor could be bad or may need to be re-adjusted if it was knocked out of alignment. Good luck and as for the check engine light, that could be something different.

I have a 98 f150 xlt. My left rear turn signal and brake light has stopped working but the running lights work on the same bulb. Ive replaced the bulb nothing, replaced the socket and nothing, even checked...

Have you checked the socket to see if 12 volts is reaching the socket for brake light citcuit? Probe the wires with a 12 volt test light probe (avail from any parts store for about $6)

1998 ford 150 brake light, turn signal, flasher not working

It could be the flasher itself, but did you check to see if you have a bad light bulb in the turn signal/ brake light? or even a bad connection at the light bulb.
Best regards

I have a 1998 Ford F150 no Dome lights and cargo lights

Hello. the wiring harness plug that goes into the relay panel just to the left of the brake pedal may be your culprit. . If you remove the cover of the relay panel and wiggle the wires in the big connection plug, you will likely find that your interior lights will flicker. I believe Ford had a recall on these wiring harnesses so contact a Ford dealer about that.

1998 Ford E250 brake lights went out along with hazard lights. Blinkers and tail lights are functioning.

Check your 4-way hazards switch on top of the steering colum. A bad switch will kill your 4-ways and brake lights because its shorting that circuit out.
