My Peugeot 206 1.4 just after I start it idles good l go to drive off it will stall 2 or 3 times after that its ok

    I suggest that you buy a can of spray throttle valve cleaner and clean the throttle valve of the engine and also the idle speed control air bypass valve located just above or on the side of throttle valve body it gets sludged and gunked up and this restricts airflow at idle and that causes low idle and stalling especially when cold

There's no EGR valve on a 1.4 petrol...
The idle-air valve is a known problem ance they get a few years old... With a new valve you might need to do a reset of the stepper motor. Do a search for IACV valve reset stepper 206.

My Peugeot 206 (2002) has a flat battery. Tried to jumpstart it several times & heard a "click" noise twice, other times nothing. It was OK when we last drove it over 2 wks ago.
Check your battery with a voltmeter. Should be at least 11.6 volts to start car. Less than that, it needs recharged or replaced. Parts stores will check your battery condition for free. A load test should show if it's good or needs replacing.

Haven't had this problem in my 206, the only reason I can think of the motor stopping after you brake is because you haven't changed gear aswell? For example, stopping from 30 at traffic lights and not depressing the clutch will eventually stall the engine.
