Won't start at times. I drove it 60 miles the other day and when I tried to start it after a couple of hours... it was fine. I drove it 6 miles down the road and stopped to get a drink and it wouldn't start. The electronics all light up but when you turn the key nothing happens. No clicking sound... just nothing.
It might be your key or the passkey lll system the folloing link should be helpful

I had the problem earlier today for about the fifth time in the last few days. hen I finally got it started I drove it to my mechanic and he did some troubleshooting in the fuse box next to the battery. He said that the "computer" thinks that the car has started but in reality it has not. He checked for a ground underneath one of the relays and found the ground to be missing. He cleaned the connection the best he could and ut everything back together. I drove it home and tried to start it after I had been home a while and it would not start. I tried my spare key but it made no difference. The security lock on my instrument panel never lights when it won't start so I don't know if I am being locked out by the Passkey system. I went back and tried to start my car, about an hour later and it started. ????? It sure seems like something is preventing me from starting the car (security system?). It wasn't moved so that if it had a corroded wire, and I hit a bump and caused it to move thereby making a better connection.
I am beginning to think that I am being prevented from starting the car by the security system since it allows me to start it later on after I tried ten times within a three minute period.
Would a dealer have the proper equipment to test for these codes being sent to the key? My mechanic seems to have a late model Diagnostic Analyzer plugged into the Diag port on my car but I don't know if it is capable of tracing these codes.
