To locate the specific fuse, you should refer to your owner's manual or the diagram on the underside of the fuse box cover. The fuse box cover should have a labeled diagram showing which fuse corresponds to the power windows. Look for a fuse labeled "PW" or "PWR" for power windows, or check the diagram for any fuses labeled for the window control module or power windows.
Once you have located the correct fuse, use a fuse puller or needle-nose pliers to remove the fuse. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a fuse of the same amperage. If the new fuse blows immediately, there may be a problem with the wiring or the power window motor, and it may require further diagnosis by a mechanic.
Hello, all windows are on the same fuse, there are no fuses for the individual windows, if only one window is not working then it's most likely a bad window motor or a window switch.
if you got a 2001 & up likely the fuse box is in the hood.look on the driver side there should be a little gray box filled with neon yellow & green fuses. the look like memory cards for a cell phone
There are two fuses for the power windows, #22 for the rear windows and #23 for the front windows. They are 30amp fuses and are located on the bottom row of the 8-way relay carrier which is found in the footwell bottom left.
I know thta, for a 2002 Ford Explorer, the 30 amp circuit breaker in location #62 of the power distribution box in the engine compartment is the power window circuit breaker. (unfortunately in the 2002 owner's manuals it is labelled accessory delay ) later years are labelled as the power window circuit breaker.
