It sounds like you have a dead or defective battery or corroded battery cables or both. Have th battery tested at Autozone or a parts store near you, it is free.

so what you mean is it wont turn over? do the lights dim in the start mode of ignition switch? sounds like a few hard taps on the starter and maybe it will turn over,, might be you have a bad starter.
You have probably connected the dash auxiliary wire with a wrong wire on the aftermarket radio. Such scenario should pop a fuse and probably kill the lights.
Try disconnecting the radio and see if that solves ur problem. Then u probably need to rewire.
