Trunk will not open with interior button nor the remote key pad

Are you using your remote? or the key in the door? If you are using your remote, I would think that the button pad is making the trunk pop section hit the contacts when you press on the door unlock section.

The following link has a parts breakdown for the trunk lid assembly. Looks like number 14 might be what you are looking for. Hope that helps.

could be something simple like a blown fuze.

this is a problem that can appear after your car battery died, cause the car didn't reset propely, so taking the battery out and putting it back in or letting your car die again would do the trick. I tried a lot of reprogramming procedured for my remote key, none of them worked, what did the trick though was simply unlocking the doors via the all door unlock button on the passenger side door, so simple.

open the remote and check to see if something needs re attatched... should be a quick fix for someone with a "sauder" gun

You may be able to open the vehicle using a coat hanger or similar object to push the lock/unlock button. Once you've gained access to the inside of the vehicle, you can push the trunk unlock button on the dash or floor (can't remember which) and it will release the trunk lock so you can retrieve your keys.

ok the interior button in the car. you need to remove it from the dash and shoot a ground to the wire going to the trunk. it is a negative trigger.

try inserting the key in the bootlid turn to position 1 then while key is in hole press unlock button on key fob. no promisses but this worked on a car i had once. good luck.

I simply opened the bonnet. Connected the battery charge positive to the + feed on the back of the alternator, connected the negative to the body. Turned it on, immediately the interior light comes on. Turn on the ignition press the cabin boot switch and it opens the boot. Charge battery as normal. Easy Peezy
