The fans should work only when there is liquid inside , if you don't have any freon then fans don't work and you don't have ac check if you have freon if you don't have than you have a leak most likely on the joints if you have freon then check the condenser if is coming on.

AC button on 1996 Honda Passport doesn't come on?

I think it's coincidental; I think the air conditioning fuse or circuit breaker has blown. Check the fusebox - this fuse should be labeled "AC" or "A/C".

One by one, all power windows stopped working in my 96 honda civic lx. How do you determine if it is a fuse, regulator???

If all the power windows stopped working it is most likely the fuse. There could be 2 fuses actually. One under the dash in the interior fuse panel and 1 under the hood in the fuse box normally located next to the battery or air filter box. Check all fuses and you should find the problem.

Air condition and fan dont work

If all fuses are ok then check wiring to fan and compressor both, if wiring is also ok and current is passed till the terminals then you have two problems, one the magnet forming coil on the compressor head is burnt, you have to replace or get it repaired. second your fan itself needs checking.

Air conditioning fan not working. No air exiting vents

The first step is to check your fuse. Go to your fuse box and look on the lid. The lid to the box should tell you what fuse belongs to the blower. Thats a good place to start.

Air Conditioning

I assume when you say the ac fan you mean the condenser fan? Take the plug loose from the fan and check it for voltage. If theres no voltage when the air is on,check the relays and fuses. If there is voltage then replace the fan motor.

1996 LX - Condenser Fan Blows Fuse

Make sure your are using the right amp fuse, if so you will need have the fan relay checked by a mechanic. The porblem would be in the wiring of the car since there is not much to a air conditioning system in a civic. As for the air not being cold you may have a leak in the plumbing of the air system that needs to be fixed because freon is very expinsive.
