Which engine? 4.0L? which trans, stick or a/t?
can you show the location of the fuse exactly.
each fuse has number and the schematics show only the F number.
is the fuse in the front PDC box, under hood>?
PDC fuse F9 blows, 30amp fuse???? no lower.

need exact fuse to wax smart, i do not have the oper guide that shows, names.
1: wires to it or to PCM shorted that line.
2:PCM bad.
3: OR SOME THING CONNECTted to PCM is shorted.
finding intermittent can be hard, i use, tools that allow me monitor those lines, an ammeter (clamps on wires) id check for wire damage first.
things that can overload the PCM are:
the Alternator Field source pin,
the ISC motor.
both 0xy sensors the heater can not be shorted.
the speed control servo,
in all cases wires too not shorted.
its not the injectors it has its own fuse f28
all comments usa car and guess 4L
now my wild guess, the 02 wires are melted and touching hot exhaust, seen vast times.

the PCM sources current to the 02 heaters
    then measures it.
so ever scan the PCM r to see if the 02 heaters fail??????????
not scanning , most modern cars is a fail.
the newer the car the bigger the fail.

1994 Dodge Ram van: ignition fuse keeps blowing when I am driving. I can run it idle without any problems. So it only blows while driving. Any thoughts?

You are not alone! It is a known issue. This was one of the solutions;

Ok Guys I Think I Got It... I Found A Black Wire With A Orange Strip On It Under The Dash That Looked Like It Was Touching Bare Wire To Metal Under The Dash.. I Moved It Out Of The Way And Then Jumped The Fuse Terminals And No Smoke So I Hit The Key And It Fired Up.. So Far So Good..

Power windows in 2003 jeep liberty limited keeps blowing fuses. No sound when I try to use any window. Put new fuse in, it works for 2 days then blows again.

When you change the fuse and it blows in 2 days, are you using just one window or are several windows used during that 2 day period. If it is just one window then the motor may be bad and drawing to much voltage or shorting out and that is what blows the fuse. I would use just one window during a 1, 2, 3, or 4 day period. If the window used does not blow the fuse try another window and go through the same process of elimination. If a particular window use blows the fuse I would pull the door panel and check for a wire that might be bare and during your drive may be touching metal and creating a short and blowing the fuse. No matter what you have to do some tracing to locate where the bad motor or bare wire might be.

2004 pt cruiser keeps blowing fuel pump fuse, replaced fuel pump, no change.runs rough at idle and stalls, blows fp fuse, also replaced ign.coil, plug wires and plugs also changed relays

There are two fuses for the fuel pump relay. One fuse is load side of relay, that fuse also sends voltage to load side of asd relay, the asd relay sends voltage to several systems, two of which are the fuel injectors and ignition coil. I'm not telling you to replace, anything, but, you need to do some testing.
The other fuse goes to control side of relay, smaller amp fuse. I don't know the amp rating of the fuse that keeps blowing.
See that fuse, it supplies voltage to load side of fuel pump relay and also to asd relay.

PDC F20
this is called S100 feed.
s100 feeds the ASD and ECU. (and wires to same that can short)

fuses blow for a short, if the wire is shorted to ground
or the modules connected short.
or the wrong fuse, used, 20amp is correct not 10.

and goes only 2 places, unless car was hacked, as many are this old.

fuse blow for a short on a power feed
and if there was no fuse the the wires catch fire.
fire near fuel, is never fun.
so the fuse blows.
and is a short. to ground on the fuse that blew.

My 25 amp fuse for the asd keeps blowing on my 2001 town & country

The ASD powers the ignition coil, 6 injectors, two heated o2 sensors, and the alternator field. I wold unplug all but the o2 sensors and see if the fuse blows. If not blown plug things back in until it blows. If this doesn't fix it I can give you more steps.

98 grand cherokee asd relay blowing fuse

The fuse it doing it's job, you have a short ( Wire that is connected to a ground, that draws too much power )

If you have an electrical schematic ( Repair manual ) find out which wires are connected to that fuse and check them for any chaffing, cuts, unnesassary twists, or corrosion.

If you have a ohm-meter, isolate the system ( by disconnecting the fuse, and other connections. Then check for any resistance on wires that should not be connected ( because you disconnected them ) by having one Lead on the wire's connector and the other meter-lead on your car's frame. A good wire will not have continuity if it is isolated.

ASD and the fuel pump relays

Sounds like you may have a short in the wiring harness to the transmission. Somewhere from the trans to where it crosses the bellhousing area most likely.

1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee...Blowing ASD fuse

My daughters jeep had the same problem. We fixed by finding the wires that run beside the manifold down under the car. The conduit that have the wires in it was worn away because of resting up against the manifold, causing the wires to short the system out. Once I replaced the conduit and taped the wires it has not shorted out again. By the way, the Jeep dealer couldn't find the problem.
