How to remove broken dipstick from pipe

remove the dipstick tube from the block/sump
they are either held in by a clamp and retaining bolt or are a tap in interference fit
use something like a pair of vice grips and tap out with a hammer
tip

Broken dipstick removal on 1.8l Nissan Sentra.

There have been issues with dipstick handles breaking off and dipstick stuck in tube. Here is a simple way to remove that broken dipstick. On the valve cover there is a hose that leads to the intake tube. Remove this hose and with a blow nozzle blow compressed air into the valve cover. The broken dipstick will shoot out of the tube. Simply install the new dipstick into the tube.

How much does it cost to put an oil dipstick tube that has come out back into the block?

These tubes normally don't come out easily. They are usually held in place with a small bracket welded to the tube and held in place with a bolt. Some are press fit to some degree. You should be able to see a small O ring on the base of the dipstick tube if it is not broken off in the block. Is there any sign of the dipstick tube showing a rusted off bracket used to hold it? If the tube is not broken off in the block, the labor charge should not be more than half an hour

My oil dipstick broke off. Can you tell me the easiest way to retrieve the stick to replace with new

Many dipstick holders are bolted to the engine...removing this bolt and the dipstick tube should also retrieve the dipstick...you may need a new tube, as well as dipstick...Hope this helps.

Toyota yaris problem

Do Not do that!! Anything foreign in the sump is a really bad idea.It way make its way to the oil pickup screen and partially block the flow of oil. This has the potential to damage your engine. At the bottom of the dipstick tube is usually a small bolt that attaches the tube to the side of the engine.I would remove this and see if I can fish it out then.Failing this you will have to drop the oil pan and get it that way.I know this may seem like a trivial thing but the potential is there to do a lot of damage.
If bits of plastic get past the screen and get into your engine any cost to get the stick out will seem very minor. good luck

Broken dipstick engine oil

Shouldn't be to hard. Find where the sleeve is connected to the side of the engine. Usually one bolt. Remove the bolt. Remove dipstick sleeve from your engine. Then you can use a wire hanger from the other end to push it up. Or down which ever is easiest..

The tranny dipstick holder is very loose I don't know how to fix

check to see where it goes into the tranny case,it may be broken,if so, then you need to remove the broken piece of tube then replace the whole tube where the dipstick goes into. If you mean the part that holds the dipstick holder with dipstick, then there should be a bracket that has an eyelet that bolts on the somewhere on the engine block to keep from moving around.

My engine oil dipstick missing

As far as I know this van never had a dipstick, did you break this off or are you just assuming that it is broken because the fill tube is there but no dipstick? If it is broken off then you will need to remove the pan off the bottom of the transmission to get it out
