You may want to check to see if the recall on the TIPM was performed. All 2010 thru 2012 Dodge Nitros were affected. The TIPM can malfunction, causing the fuel pump to shut off while driving, as well as many other little issues that can make the vehicle seem almost "haunted". The recall was issue September 21, 2014. Here is a link to a page that will explain it. Defective TIPM Is Causing Dangerous Power Problems in Chrysler Vehicles
Check for a clogged line. Judging that the car is relatively new I don't think it would really be that. It probably just needs a recharge. Head to your local auto parts store and grab some an AC recharge kit. Doesn't take long at all and is relatively cheap.

turn the headlights on and off until the nitro beeps at you, that means you have manually over ridden the head lights. I own a Chevy S-10, and I can mash the button 5 times and the lights will shut off.
