All gauges not working however truck runs great. what could be the problem.

You need to test your fuses. Go through with a tester and test each one. Verify you haven't lost your ground straps running from the back of your block to the firewall.

None of my gauges work.

tap the dash see if it comes back on. if not the control in the dash board may have gone. or push on the dash if it works then its not sitting propper to the plug on the back of the dash.

I had a water leak on my 1996 GMC K1500 and ran hot. Fixed problem truck running good, but the temperature gauge is pegged high even with a new sensor. How do I fix the gauge?

Pull off the negative battery cable and unplug the sensor. See if the gauge needle returns to normal. Try tapping on the cluster to unstick the needle. No luck? Replace the temperature gauge.

Sometimes a bad battery connection will cause gauges go hay wired. Turn your switch on but not over and see if your gauges do the same without the car running. try loosening the battery cables and reposition the post.

Fuel gauges no working 1989 ford f-150

drop the gas tank and either replace the fuel sending unit connected to the fuel pump, or you can try to clean the contacts w/ a pencil eraser, just be gentle
