Water is not flowing changed the thermostat and the water pump filled up the radiator but the car over heats in less than a mile what can i do to see if it is the radiator and is there any way to fix with out buying a new radiator any trick to keep it from over heating untill i can change it
There are 3 potential problems here.
1) air pocket /bubble trap inside the water pump
Drive/lift the front of the car up and keep topping off water into coolant tank.
2) externally dirty / blocked radiator
Drop the lower radiator hose and flush the radiator from the upper hose.
3)Water pump turbine can be TOTALLY worn out.
It may still look OK from the outside by the turbine can not fin-less

Are you sure you bleeded the air out correctly. These are a pain sometimes. Water pump blades are know to fall apart and this could also clog up the system almost anywhere
