Why doesn't my horn and aux "cigarette lighter" not work on my 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD 4x4? The horn is ok because when I use my key phob to lock my truck the horn blow?

Fuses are ok,and the horn works when I lock my truck with the key phon.

No the light doesn't work at all. Yes the horn is supposed to blow but if there were something wrong with the horn it wouldn't work at all.

The keyfod is suppose to sound the horn to let you know that the alarm is set

the horn will blow when you set the keyfob which locks the doors to let you know that the alarm is set.

I know it does but I seen when the fuse or relays were bad the horn wouldn't work when you used the key fob.

Check your fuses, It sounds like you have a blown fuse

After checking the fuses and the relay, I would suggest that you pick up a charging kit for about 25-30 bucks at your nearest dept. store or auto parts store.

SOURCE: no power to passenger door window or lock, drivers

I know this sounds strange but I believe the problem is in the drivers door. This is where the master switch is and controls the other doors. Have it tested or replaced. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Have a 2007 chevy 2500 and cant find the auxilary fuse. this is the 12 volt plug next to the cigarette lighter.

The main fuse box is under the hood on driver side.
There's another on the side of the dash on driver side. Open the door and look right on the side and you'll see the cover. Diagram inside. The 12v lighter is one of the "aux pwr" 20amp fuses.
There's a fuse puller on the inside of the cover along with some spare fuses.

did you check the horn relay it is a small box usually in or near the fuses or near the horn itself It may have been just the relay all along and not the horn

2002 Chevrolet HD Aux outlet does not work. Cig lighter does.

The cig lighter and the aux outlets are on a seperate circuit.The aux is a yellow fuse in the engine compartment fuse box.
