After running out of gas, 1999 saturn will not crank, nor start

just beneath throttle body follow air intake remove air intake u will want to a small plastic soda bottle will work before doing this make sure there are sources of ignition some gas may leek out u will have to push in plastic retainer and pull fuel line closest to fire wall be sure to use eye protection place fuel line in bottle opening have some body turn the ignition on this will bleed any air out of the line if no gas pumps out check fuses and fuel pump relay

Where do i find the idle air control valve

Depends on what type of car it is, if its got a carb there is a little screw in front of the throttle (there is a cable coming from the fire wall to the top of the motor) turn it in to increase and out to decrease. If it is fuel injected you will need to remove the air box and locate the throttle body. Then locate the screw adjustment and turn it in to increase throttle. If it is fuel injected you will probably need to check the mass air flow sensor, throttle position sensor, and the O2 sensor.

Just wondering where the EGR is located on a 2002 Sebring V6 2.7 liter. Back or top?

It is located on the drivers side of the engine on the back of the cylinder head located closest to the fire wall. If you remove the air tube going to the throttle body and look down and to the right (stangind on the drivers side of the car) you will see it.

How can i get to the thermostat housing on my 1999 Buick Century

drain the coolant
remove the 2 connectors on the air duct
remove the air inlet duct from the throttle body to the air box
disconnect the throttle cable and cruise control cable
remove the throttle cable bracket one 10mm nut at the bottom of the throttle body and 2-10mm bolts on top of the throttle body
MOVE A SIDE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO REMOVE THE CABLES FROM THE BRACKET
ok there is a coolant pipe runs across the front valve cover
remove the the hose that will go under the upper intake
then remove the 8mm bolt holding the coolant pipe
then back at the throttle body there are 2 small hoses side the clamps up the you will see a brace on the coolant pipe bolts to the throttle body with a 13mm nut remove that nut
ok now the 2 small hoses will be stuck to the pipe use a SLIDE A SMALL SCREW DRIVER BETWEEN THE HOSES AND THE COOLANT PIPE BE CAREFULL NOT TO CUT THE HOSE
now lift the coolant pipe up at the front of the engine IT HASE AN O RING SEAL
then slide the coolant pipe back at the throttle body back to remove the hoses from the coolant pipe
remove the TPS,IAC and EVAP connectors
then remove the 2 thottle body bolts 13mm
remove the throttle body
you may have to TAP THE THROTTLE BODY WITH A SCREW DRIVE HANDLE TO RELEASE
check the gasket make sure it didn't TEAR or REPLACE IT
now remove the hose to the thermostat housing
there are 2 -13mm bolts the top bolt take it out
the bottom bolt remove 90% the bottom bolt hole is slotted
remove the thermostat housing
REV. porcedure to reassemble
then after you have reassembled
OPEN BOTH BLEED SCREWS THEY ARE 7mm BOLTS one on the thermostat housing and the other one is on the coolant pipe
fill the cooling system till you have a STREAM OF COOLANT COMING OUT OF THE BLEEDERS now CLOSE THE BLEEDER SCREWS
top up coolant in rad and install the cap top up the over flow bottle
start the vehicle up and select VENT,HIGH HEAT BLOWER TO HIGH
let vehicle run untill you have GOOD HEAT COMING OUT OF THE VENTS HOT! NOT JUST WARM
this will insure you have no air locks in the cooling system
good luck and i hope this was helpfull

How do you replace an Accelerator Cable on a 1999 Honda Accord Ex??

It snot the funnest job the accelerator cable is connect to the very tip top of the gas pedal and runs through the fie wall to the throttle body.
Step one disconnect it from the top of the gas pedal by using 2 10mm wrenches and youll have to be upside down for this and remove the bottom dash covers using 10mm wrenches and phillips #2 screw driver its not easy to get to I'll tell you that alot of things in the way wiring etc.
step two disconnect it from fire wall and throttlebody using 10 mm wrenches and clip remover or needle nose pliers pull from engine side carefully
and reinstall new one opposite feeding it from the engine side through the firewall
I have found it just as easy to remove the dash itself but it can be done without doing this.

Changing Idle Control Valve on 1997 Honda Civic 1.4i auto 3 door hatch

I have a 1997 Civic DX. It looks to me that the IACV is located between the engine valve cover and throat of the air intake or throttle body. Not near the fire wall. This model has 4 screws connecting it to the throttle body.
