Im getting code po594 and po582 and a body control module code right rear turn output open. My cruise control will not work. What's the possible causes?

It has neither. The turn signal is a function of the Body control Module.

I just changed out the brake control switch on my 2008 Silverado hoping it would fix my cruise control problem. Cruise still not working and now bake symbol stays on in dash any idea on how to fix it.

brake control switch ???? Define brake control switch ? Do you mean the switch on top of the brake pedal ? Brake light switch ? bake symbol stays??? Assume you mean brake symbol ? This is why you should have taken to a qualified repair shop. You probably have no idea as to how the cruise works . Your vehicle's cruise control is computer controlled . Vehicle has electronic throttle control , do you know what that is ? Before i get to technical , is the air bag light lit on the instrument cluster ? When you turn on the cruise does the cruise light turn on ? Taking the vehicle to a qualified repair shop that has a factory or professional type scan tool an checking for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes should be the first step in the diagnostic process . Not guessing an replacing parts . Do or did the brake lights work before or after switch replacement ? If so the switch wasn't bad.

The body control system consists of the body control module (BCM), communications, and various input and outputs. Some inputs, outputs and messages require other modules to interact with the BCM. The BCM also has discrete input and output terminals to control the vehicle's body functions. The BCM is wired to the GMLAN high speed serial data buss and the GMLAN low speed serial data buss and acts as a gateway between them. If the BCM does not communicate the vehicle will not start due to the inability of the engine control module (ECM)/powertrain control module (PCM) and theft deterrent module (TDM) to communicate without the BCM providing the gateway function.

Cruise Control Description and Operation
Cruise control is a speed control system that maintains a desired vehicle speed under normal driving conditions at speeds above 40 km/h (25 mph). Steep grades may cause variations in the selected vehicle speeds.
The following are the main components of the Cruise Control System:
• The accelerator pedal
• The stop lamp switch
• The body control module (BCM)
• The cruise control switches
• The engine control module (ECM)
• The throttle actuator control (TAC) motor
• The vehicle speed sensor (VSS)

The body control module (BCM) monitors the signal circuit of the cruise control switches. The BCM relays the cruise control switch status to the engine control module (ECM) via the GMLAN serial data circuit. The ECM uses the status of the cruise control switch to determine when to capture and maintain the vehicle speed. The ECM monitors the vehicle speed signal circuit in order to determine the desired vehicle speed. The ECM uses the throttle actuator control (TAC) motor in order to maintain the vehicle speed. For further information on the TAC System, refer to Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System Descriptionfor the 4.3L engine or Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System Description for the 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L or 7.0L engines.
Voltage is supplied to the cruise control switch via the steering wheel control switch reference voltage circuit supplied by the BCM. The cruise control function switches are arranged in a resistive ladder design, with each cruise control function switch having a different resistance value. The BCM detects a specific voltage value that is associated with the cruise control function switch being activated. When the normally open cruise control on/off switch is turned ON, the switch closes and the BCM supplies a ground to the cruise control switch ON indicator circuit as it becomes illuminated. The BCM sends a GMLAN serial data message to the ECM indicating that the on/off switch is active. Similarly, when the normally open + RES switch or the normally open - SET switch are pressed, the switch closes and the BCM detects the predetermined voltage signal on the cruise control set/coast and resume/accel switch signal circuit. The BCM sends a GMLAN serial data message to the ECM indicating that the + RES switch or the - SET switch is active. To engage the Cruise Control System, ensure that the vehicle speed is above 40.2 km/h (25 mph), turn the cruise On/Off switch ON and momentarily press the - SET switch. The ECM will engage the Cruise Control System and record the vehicle speed. The ECM sends a GMLAN serial data message to the driver information center (DIC) in order to illuminate the CRUISE SET TO ### message. The ECM sends a GMLAN serial data message to the instrument panel cluster (IPC) in order to illuminate the Cruise Engaged indicator in the IPC. The - SET switch and the + RES switch will remain inactive when the BCM has not received the predetermined voltage signal from the on/off switch. Pressing the accelerator pedal, while the Cruise Control System is engaged, will allow the driver to override the Cruise Control System in order to accelerate the vehicle beyond the current set vehicle speed. When the accelerator pedal is released, the vehicle will decelerate and resume the current set vehicle speed. The driver can also override the current set vehicle speed via the - SET switch and the + RES switch. When the Cruise Control System is engaged, pressing and holding the - SET switch will allow the vehicle to decelerate from the current set vehicle speed without deactivating the Cruise Control System. When the - SET switch is released, the ECM will record the vehicle speed and maintain the vehicle speed as the new set vehicle speed. When the Cruise Control System is engaged, momentarily pressing the - SET switch will allow the vehicle to decelerate at 1.6 km/h (1 mph) increments for each time that the - SET is momentarily pressed, with a minimum vehicle speed of 37 km/h (23 mph). Pressing and holding the + RES switch, when the Cruise Control System is engaged, will allow the vehicle to accelerate to a greater vehicle speed than the current set vehicle speed. When the + RES switch is released, the ECM will record the vehicle speed and maintain the vehicle speed as the new set vehicle speed. When the Cruise Control System is engaged, momentarily pressing the + RES switch will allow the vehicle to accelerate at 1.6 km/h (1 mph) increments for each time that the + RES switch is momentarily pressed, with the maximum acceleration total of 16 km/h (10 mph) over the current set vehicle speed. Momentarily activating the + RES switch will recall the previous vehicle speed, after the cruise control system is disengaged by pressing the brake pedal or by activating the CANCEL switch.

Very highly doubtful that you could fix this .

Pontiac Grand Prix 2007 has power cutting briefly under different circumstances.

Looking at wiring diagrams for the systems with the problem to see if they share a common power supply or ground connection . Sounds like loose connection . Do you know what a wiring diagram is ? The body control system consists of the body control module (BCM) and its associated controls. Battery positive voltage is provided to the BCM from the TURN/HAZ fuse and the CHMSL/BKUP fuse in the fuse block instrument panel (I/P). The module grounds are wired to ground G200, G201 and G301. The BCM is wired to the class 2 serial data communication bus as well as discrete input and output terminals to control the functions of the vehicles body .
Cruise Control Inoperative/Malfunctioning
Circuit/System Description
The cruise control switch is an input to the engine control module (ECM) / powertrain control module (PCM). The ECM (5.3L) / PCM (3.8L) monitors the cruise control set/coast and resume/accelerate switch signal circuit in order to detect when a cruise control function has been requested. The ECM detects a specific voltage signal on the cruise control set/coast and resume/accelerate switch signal circuit when a cruise control function switch is activated, with each switch having a different predetermined voltage value.
Turn Signal Lamps
The STOP/TURN/HAZARD fuse in the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block supplies battery positive voltage to the body control module (BCM) for the turn signal lamps. When the turn switch is placed in the LEFT TURN or RIGHT TURN position, ground is applied from G202 through the turn switch, to the turn signal switch signal circuit and to the BCM. The BCM then applies battery positive voltage to front and rear turn signal lamps supply voltage circuits. The left front turn signal lamp is grounded at G100, right front at G101, left rear at G301 and the right rear is at G302.
Stop Lamps
The turn signal lamps are also used as stop lamps. The STOP/TURN/HAZARD fuse in the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block supplies battery positive voltage to the body control module (BCM) for the stop lamps.
A 10-volt reference signal and a low reference signal is applied from the BCM to the brake pedal position (BPP) sensor. When the brake pedal is applied, the BPP sensor applies a signal to the BPP sensor signal circuit to the BCM. The BCM then applies battery positive voltage to the LR and RR stop/tail/turn lamps through the LR and RR stop/turn lamps supply voltage circuit. The BCM also supplies a battery positive voltage to the CHMSL through the stop lamp supply voltage circuit. The ground for the LR stop/tail/turn lamp is supplied from G301 The ground for the RR stop/tail/turn lamp and for the CHMSL is supplied from G302.

Having the vehicle checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's mite help . Not at auto zone or advance etc... they can not read BCM codes .

Cruise Control on your vehicle is computer controlled , having the vehicle checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes should be the first step in diagnosing this problem . Not a code reader or autozone etc... Would need a factory Tech 2 scanner or someother professional type , one that can read BCM - body control module codes .

How to fix cruise control on a 2006 ford freestar, does not work at all, wont turn on

Note the diagram, at least check the fuse. Check trouble codes, related to cruise control. to check codes yourself, at least, you need an obd2 code reader that will read po codes as well as manufacturer specific codes. It is worth the investment, in my opinion. Make sure the brake lites work.

Cruise control will not engage 2010 xf jaguar

Possible causes. The button, wiring from the button to the PCM, PCM, wiring from the PCM to the cruise control module, cruise control module. Which in your case , the cruise module is the throttle body module. Drive by wire. Have the codes read.

1999 windstar- non functional windows, cruise, radio

Looking at a wiring diagram ,the BCM has nothing to do with the cruise control . This vehicle has two different body control modules ,the (FEM) front electronic module an the (REM) rear electronic module . The power door locks are controlled by these two modules . The door lock switches are inputs to the (FEM) . The driver door lock is also controlled by the (FEM) . The right front and the rear door locks are controlled by the (REM) . The power windows are not controlled by these modules ,so it is not a faulty body computer . An where did you check codes ? Takes a factory or professional type scan tool to read these codes . No code reader , they just check PCM - engine codes . The power mirrors are not controlled by these modules either . Nor is the radio .
Looking at a wiring diagram i see the power mirror's and the power window share a common ground point G-305 , so does the rear radio controller ! (if your vehicle has one )
Buying an replacing parts is no way to fix these problems ! Using a wiring diagram and a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter to test the electrical circuits of these systems is the way to find the problem . Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info. year , make , model and engine size . Then under system click on body an Accessorys , subsystem click power windows .
