Question about 2007 Hyundai Accent GS Hatchback
Lose power on hills.standard trans.
Sounds to me it could be a plugged catalytic converter. the symptoms are runs good , no strain, or on the flats, then loses power with exertion, or long uphill to the point you think it's going to just quit on you. easy test is to unbolt the catalytic inlet, and give it a quick test run. sometimes you can tell by having someone race the engine while you monitor the exhaust to see if enough comes out of it. usually happens over 75,000 miles
