Try the negative battery cable. Different systems may have different ground locations. Your question throws a wide loop. I don't have all the different possible ground locations in front of me?

1995 ford escort wagon ignition to starter wiring shematics

95 escort, automatic tranny
At the starter motor, two voltage circuits, one comes from the battery, hot all the time. The other voltage circuit goes hot with the key in the crank position and is wired through the neutral switch. The ground for the starter motor is through engine block, grounds are important.

1995 Ford Escort Wagon, turn on the key NOTHING happens. No click no dash lights no start.

Buy your battery there is a master fuse link that burns out to protect the systems. It is a smaller section of wire Lighter gauge that burns and separates. feel for it and look for bubbled wire coating.

this could be your problem and is a simple fix. Mike

1995 Ford Escort LX Wagon 1.9 Liter. 173K Loud Vibration

Is the engine running on all four cylinders, no missfire? If so, check the engine and transmission mounts, there are four, one at the top right hand side, one at the top of transmission on the left hand side, and one on front of transmission bell housing, and one in the rear transmission bell housing, any of them that are bad can cause this vibration. Hope this helps, let me know.

Ford escort 95 wagon the horn does not work but was just replaced 6 months ago with new one. it just clicks at the steering wheel

Check the horn relay
  • Horn relay located above the interior fuse junction panel. Hope this helps. Also check the ground wire to horn, if in doubt run a wire from horn base to some other ground.

I have a 95 Ford Escort Wagon that overheated. I found a leak in the radiator and had it repaired. Now the car won't start. It has power to the starter, the starter is working, but the engine won't turn...

on top of radiator theres a relay box (black and about 4inchs square) make sure wiring is good and the ground wires are connected, you might of missed a wire. hope this helps.
