Gauges are coming on by themselves with engine off. Running battery down
You will need to lift the negative cable from the battery and place a VOM in series with it with setting on the amps scale. This will indicate the amount of current flowing with everything turned off. Then you will need to start individually pulling fuses until the current disappears. This will show you what circuit is drawing the current and you will need to trace back and find out what is causing that current draw.
Hi Cindy The link below is a short youtube video on how to find out if a car battery has a drain, The video starts with the guy loosening the negative lead to the battery then turns the multimeter on and sets it to DC, plug bottom of lead to current mode and places 1 multimeter lead on top of the terminal inside the negative lead and the other multimeter lead on the negative lead and wiggle the negative lead off the battery..... The reason he does it this way is to save any codes from your car as technically the battery isn't disconnected.....
