Why Engine management light wont go off after overhaul

Just overhauled the engine. Now engine light won't go off. No fuel spraying from injectors. 2002 jeep Cherokee 2.5 crd sport? Engine cranks but won't turn over. Tried quick start and sounds like it wants to take but dies.

I have recently overhauled my Toyota 2kd engine but it has refused to ignite and the injector pump has failed to pump out any fuel on trying to start the engine

If the injector pump has failed to pump out any fuel, then it is likely that the pump is faulty and needs to be replaced. It is also possible that the fuel lines are blocked or the fuel filter is clogged. If the fuel lines and filter are clear, then the pump may need to be replaced.

Hi i got a nissan patrol 06 model with the 4.2td intercooled engine have jst replaced new injector pump and injectors have been overhauled also ive done 3000klms and now i have a missfire/spluter!

Assuming the pump and injector overhauls were of good quality, it is possible some dirt has entered the fuel system during fitting though it really could be almost anything and systematic checking is needed to discover the cause of the problem.

1999 s10 2.2 4cyl.just overhauled engine it started fine and ran fine but now it wont.

This is a timing issue or a valve seat issue. Most likely timing because you overhauled it. Check the mechanical and ignition timing.

It is necessary to overhaul the engine more than 12 yrs..

Engines are not overhauled due to age or mileage. Engines are overhauled due to mechanical failure and/or excessive wear. I have overhauled engines with less than 6 months of use on them. On the other hand, I personally drive a 1982 Ford Escort with 220,000+ miles on it that has never been overhauled. It depends on how well the engine has been maintained and the type of driving it has been subjected to. I have also seen engine failures on cars that have had all the correct maintenance and driven reasonably, but they fail anyway. (Rare, but it does happen.)

fill up a squirt can with transmission fluid and spray it in the intake when the engine is running do this slowly. the cars exhaust will smoke horribly bad and stink as equally bad. but the transmission fluid will actually knock the carbon off your valves.
