Hi Curtis-Kathrine Wardell, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box?

When driving down road with heater fan on high the fan will slow down (if not stop all together) when she hits a bump. Have checked connection to fan and taken out fan to see if they were loose. They were not. Breaker panel is also tight.

  • Curtis-Kathrine Wardell

When it stops or slows down it is only for a few seconds than goes back to normal.

I would loo at 2 things, #1, look at the grounding, #2, the motor shaft itself may be loose and binding inside the motor housing when you hit bumps, you might consider replacing the blower motor.

  • Curtis-Kathrine Wardell

ok thank you will check for a loose ground.

  • Curtis-Kathrine Wardell

Do you think a loose wire on the back of the control knob would cause that. That is the only thing I have not taken apart yet.

1993 bonneville no heat

Could be a faulty blower motor or a connection in the wiring.
When it will not work, check the connection at the motor for power and ground.

My heater blower dosent work uless i hit a bump or something and if i hit a bump it gose back off

This is often caused by a lose cable to your blower motor or your blower could be going bad. You can this by removing the cover underneath the glovebox. This will give you access to the blower and harness.

Heat was on and just quit.Fuse is good.

Bump the heater with your hand to see if the motor will try and run,or see if there is voltage to the blower motor,if there is,then the blower motor has gone bad.

No air coming out of vents when air is turned on. the fuses are all ok

2 things come to mind: can you hear the fan turning?

if not check for power at fan location. If there is power and the fan isnt spinning replace the fan. If there is no power
there is a problem with the fan circuit which includes wiring fuse (you stated were ok) and Fan speed switch (might be a module)

Or there is a blockage it is possible for your heater core and evaporator to plug up with dust .
