2003 mazda tribute is leaking water into the fuse box on drivers side after it rains. How do I fix it?

Water leaks don't cause overheating unless there is no, or very little coolant..

Air locks cause overheating.
Failed water pumps cause overheating.
Blocked radiators cause overheating.
Stuck thermostats cause overheating.

No it is not connected the wather of your air conditionner is comming out from there

Check the weather stripping on the hood, it may need to be replaced. Try covering the fuse box with a zip lock bag to prevent water from entering. Make sure the bag is secured so it does not get caught on any moving parts or heated parts.

The fuse panel for this is on the left end of the instrument panel (dash). Open the drivers side door to make this easier. Pull that little access door off and the fuse is in their.

There is one inside the cabin and is usually located near the drivers side kick plate.

Generally, water on the passenger side is the A/C drain tube.
Driver side generally means widshield or sun roof seal leak.
Did you wash the Mazda or did it rain prior to puddling?
Before disassembling the windshield seal, test ... with a water hose (Remove floormat and place a towel on newspapers on the driver's side floor).
There is a "smoke" test" that can more accurately find the leak. See if you local AutoZone will rent one (maybe free) to you.
