I want to reset my service indicator on a e class 270 cdi

If no one gives you a better answer, you can just disconnect the battery for and hour or somewhat less and it should reset itself. The indicator may come back on if the underlying problem is still there.

look to see if the trunk activation button is stuck down..if you dont use it.. disconnect it if need be..if it becomes an issue or pull the fuse for it..

HOW TO RESET SERVICE INDICATOR ON 2001 C CLASS CDI

  1. Make sure the doors are closed
  2. Turn key to position 2,
  3. press trip reset button 3 times, untill service indicator screen shows
  4. Hold down the reset button and turn key to position 0.
  5. while the key is at position 0, release the button and repress,
  6. turn key back to position 2 while holding down the button
  7. wait untill service resets.
this all has to be done within 10 seconds. it may take a few attempts.

Error code P2203 on ml 270 cdi 04/2000

Component Y3/6N3 speed sensor 3 is faulty,That is a transmission code...the trans speed sensors are MADE into a printed circuit board that connects to the valve body...MB part number is 140-270-08-61.. LIST price in the USA is $225. TAKES about 1.5-2 hrs to install

  • you need a Brake safety switch replaced.This is located behind you brake pedal.it's a common problem. The warning lights will reset after a few engine starts.

How to reset service for E 270 cdi

Try this, it is the procedure for resetting the ASSIST computer on some Mercs
1...Turn Key to position No:2 in the ignition / steering lock 2...Press AND Hold the button "000.0" (the trip reset button) TWICE within the space of 1 (one) second and turn the key to position No: 0 in the ignition / steering lock - release button 3...Press AND Hold the button "000.0" (the trip reset button) and turn Key to position No:2 in the ignition / steering lock
That should do it....The service indicator will reset and an acoustic signal may briefly sound
