check intake and all vacuum hoses for leaks
check evap canister and purge valve
Po445 is evap canister purge valve short circuit
check wiring and connection

what is that, its a DTC.
what does it mean, it means the EVAP vents are failing. or the gas cap is loose.
put the cap on tight, and reset the codes, with any scan tool
then drive see if it comes back.
if yes, a new cap
if still bad, the FSM has the lost weekend of test to find it.
its NON trival if you dont have shop air , and or shop vacuum tests tools. the tank vent system is breached, why ,is obvious.
crackes. in hoses etc.
or the PCM evap testing parts are bad, all this and every single
test is fully covered in any cars FSM, not just jeeps.
get the FSM, and read it.

P0442 code means that the control module has detected a small leak in the Evaporative Emission (EVAP). The loose fuel tank filler cap is the most common cause that triggers the P0442 code.

Code P0445 indicates that there is improper purge flow in the EVAP system caused by a shorted purge valve.

Make sure Fuel tank cap is tightened well, then have it tested at Autozone, etc... If ok, then go back to inspection station.

I have a dodge stratus and the engine light is on and it drives and its as though someone stopped it with a grabbing sensation but its not the brakes they are not involved. i thought the pause and cut off was caused by the transmission but it not that either
