Is Ford Motor Co. sending their manufacturing to Mexico to save money?

Depending on the vehicle manufacturer, there are some that you can change the keys inside the cylinders to match what you have. If the dealer said that you have to change all, then I'd go after market so it saves you a bit of money.

take a record of the vin number on the firewall of the car along with date of manufacture and any other relevant details, go on line to ford motor co open up customer service page open up the contact us page send them the details of what you want to know.

sounds like a weak spark. check the ignition control module on the distributor

Thermostat - 3.0L (2V) Removal and Installation

1. Partially drain the engine cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .

3. Remove the thermostat O-ring seal.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Thermostat - 3.0L (4V) Removal and Installation

1. Raise and support vehicle. For additional information, refer to JACKING & HOISTING .
2. Remove the front splash shield. For additional information, refer to FRONT END BODY PANELS .
3. Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .

5. Lower the vehicle.

9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

The original company that made the parts for Ford went bankrupt. Victory Climate Systems purchased everything from the company that made them including the available inventory. They plan on starting up manufacturing again - great outfit - but Ford's being jerks because they won't do business with them! The part from Ford was only $65, but since Victory had to also buy the accounts receivable (Ford won't pay their own portion), they are charging $250. Again = bad Ford!!!!

If you haven't got the intruction manual where you would usually find it written in you'll need to either take it to a dealer so there can send it off to have it recoded or find someone local who can recode it for you, Radio Doctor is one I used! you'll save money if youn can get the radio out yourself! Not much else you can do. Did you buy it from a garage? you ould ask them they should of given it to you when you purchased the motor!

go to autozone.com you can look it up but you will be better off to get a repare manual on it, it will save you money latter on. bobg22

Sounds like your window regulator has failed, you cant repair those cables. You would have to purchase another. The motor you can keep and try and re use to save money. But make sure the motor is trying to roll the window.

Recommend to replace engine as damage may not be noticeable without total dis assembly. Will be money ahead to install used/re manufactured engine.
