1991 Cutlass Ciera 3.3 low idle

Disconnect your MASS AIR FLOW sensor connector and if car runs and does not quit then you found the problem .
Replace sensor and relay .

Have you checked the fluid levels? If you are low on oil, then this could be the cause. I would also try putting fuel injection cleaner in the gas tank to clean out your system. Especially in winter there seems to be more of a need to clean out your gas. It could be a dirty fuel injection system and this would help if it is.

May need new battery connectors and a good tune up

check the convertor for clogging. you can also do a back pressure test on the convertor to determine if it is bad.

this could be an Idle air controll valve and low fuel pressure

have the egr valve checked it may be sticking

Sounds like idle air control or cam position sensor. Throttle control valve(sensor)?

The Idle Air Motor mounts on the throttle body.That would be a good place to start.

have you changed the fuel filter

I would check the idle air control valve, this is what controls the idle, when your foot is not on the throttle.
